Before discovering Symmetry Financial Group, Shaqueena Cleveland spent 17 years as an accountant for Stanley Black & Decker. From the outside, her life looked stable: a secure career, steady income, and professional success. But beneath that stability was a growing sense of restlessness. “My life was comfortable but unfulfilling,” she says. “I was spending 12-hour days at the office and missing out on life.”

Her journey to Symmetry began unexpectedly as a client. When her agent spent hours at her home helping her family, he looked at her before leaving and said, “You’d make a great insurance agent.” Shaqueena laughed it off at first. “I told him, ‘No way. I don’t want to sell anything.’” But that moment planted a seed that changed everything.

Within two weeks, she earned her license and within months, she began seeing what was truly possible. Still, she admits the early days weren’t easy. “When my mentor told me what it took to get promoted, I thought it was impossible. I had never made that kind of money before.” But everything shifted after she heard Edward Pritchett speak about mindset. “I realized success wasn’t about knowing everything, it was about believing in myself.”

That belief became the foundation of her leadership. Today, Shaqueena leads her own agency, helping others find the same confidence and freedom she found in Symmetry. “Before, leadership was just a title,” she explains. “Now it’s about influence and impact, leading by example not authority.”

Alongside her husband, who also partners in the business, Shaqueena now enjoys a life of time freedom, purpose, and adventure traveling the world, giving back, and helping others build legacies of their own. “We get to design the life we want,” she says. “And if you’re looking for freedom: financial, personal, or emotional this is the place to find it.”
